Founded in 1982, Sangam Plastic Industries has evolved from a family-run unit into a professionally managed, quality-first packaging company. With over 40 years of experience in the pharmaceutical packaging space, we continue to meet the growing and dynamic needs of healthcare and wellness brands.
Today, we operate from a head office in Padi and manufacturing units in Ambattur and Ponneri (Tiruvallur), with GMP-compliant, ISO 9001:2015 & ISO 15378 certified operations, offering precision-moulded HDPE bottles, tablet containers, dry syrup bottles and a wide range of closures – all produced under strict hygiene protocols.
Led by a next-generation entrepreneur, we are building a system-driven organisation focused on scalable growth, customer success and global regulatory standards.

Four decades of growth
- 1982 – The beginning.
Established by Mr. Basant Kumar Surana (Founder) with a modest setup manufacturing inner plugs, bottles and caps. - 1990s – 2010s – Steady expansion.
With deep industry knowledge and a dedication to craftsmanship, the company expanded – first across Chennai, and later all over India. - Today – The next generation.
Now led by second-generation entrepreneur Darshan Surana (CEO), Sangam is transforming into a future-ready packaging powerhouse. - Unit III – Cleanroom.
Launch of a state-of-the-art ISO 8, GMP-compliant, Class 100,000 cleanroom facility – a major leap towards serving global markets and export-driven needs.
